AI DM Auto-Responder: Complete Setup Guide

3 Modes Explained

Suggest Mode (Recommended for Beginners)

AI generates response suggestions that go into your approval queue. You review each one and choose to:

Auto Mode (For High-Volume Creators)

AI responds automatically with a random delay (30-120 seconds by default). Every response is still logged so you can review quality.

Hybrid Mode (Best of Both)

Auto-responds to simple messages (greetings, small talk) but queues complex ones (explicit, personal, upsell) for your approval. Configure which categories are auto vs. manual.

Configuration Tips

Tone Settings

Choose from: friendly, flirty, professional, casual. This shapes how the AI writes — a flirty tone uses more emojis and playful language, while professional keeps it business-like.

Boundaries

Write clear instructions about what the AI should never say. Example: "Never share personal contact info, never agree to meet in person, never discuss other creators."

Emoji Usage

Upsell Frequency

Set how often the AI subtly promotes your content. Every 5 messages is a good default. The AI will naturally suggest exclusive content, tips, or subscriptions without being pushy.

Managing the Approval Queue

Navigate to AI DMQueue tab to see pending responses. Each item shows:

Process items quickly with Approve/Edit/Reject buttons.

Best Practices

1. Start with Suggest mode until you're comfortable with the AI's responses

2. Set clear boundaries from day one

3. Review the queue daily — fans expect timely responses

4. Monitor Stats tab to track auto/approved/rejected ratios

5. Adjust tone and response length based on your audience
